Just a 20 minute drive north of San Juan del Sur and 5 minutes from some of the most pristine beaches in all of Nicaragua, Casa de Monos is a lesson in relaxation and adventure. Balcones at Majagual is a small, private eco-resort custom designed using green building concepts, native hardwoods and stone. High ceilings and large overhangs in Casa de Monos provide shade from sun and rain showers. Boundaries between indoors and outdoors blur when sliding walls open kitchen and bedroom to large patios.

4WD is recommended on the roads outside San Juan del Sur and within our community. Solar hot water and battery backup systems keep the lights on, the refrigerator cold and the showers hot when local power is disrupted. House includes concierge service, maid service and 24 hour security.

We seek guests who will take the time to enjoy the beauty and wildlife that our community has to offer. We assure you that your rental home will be outfitted as advertised and our staff will work with you to make your vacation special. In return, we require a minimum of 3 nights and a non-refundable 50% deposit to guarantee your reservation.
