Balcones at Majagual is a boutique community for soft adventure. This is the residential neighborhood of the world-class hotel and eco-resort, Morgan's Rock .

Today there are eleven homes in Balcones at Majagual, and many are available for weekend, weekly and monthly rentals. We seek guests who will take the time to enjoy the beauty and wildlife that our community has to offer. We assure you that your rental home will be outfitted as advertised and our staff will work with you to make your vacation special. In return, we request a minimum of 3 nights and require a non-refundable 50% deposit to guarantee your reservation. Our concierge helps make your vacation everything you expect! You will feel like you're on a luxury safari in Nicaragua!

Please let us know more about your group, and we'll suggest a configuration of homes to suit your larger or smaller group. For example, two or three homes may be rented together to create a large living space with 4-6 bedrooms, or the studio building at Casa Tranquilla may be rented separately as a cozy bungalow.

Nicaragua has regular seasons of rainy and dry weather. During dry season (usually mid- November through mid-May) a high-clearance vehicle is recommended to travel most comfortably on the coastal road north and south of San Juan del Sur. During rainy season (usually mid-May through mid-November), 4WD vehicles with high clearance may be required to navigate coastal roads north and south of San Juan del Sur, ford small rivers without bridges, as well as drive to Playa Marsella and Playa Maderas surf beach.

An AWD or 4x4 vehicle is required to gain admittance to Balcones at Majagual. Each rental party must have an AWD or 4x4 vehicle, and a high-clearance vehicle is strongly recommended. The guard at the entrance will confirm that your vehicle is in 4WD and that manual hubs are locked, before you will be allowed to drive into our community. The requirement for an AWD or 4x4 vehicle is for your protection on our ungroomed dirt roads and helps prevents damage to our roads. Keeping costs of road maintenance low, helps assure our rental rates remain affordable.
